1 – 10 Learn each individually
Double Digits It's all logic
Tens are formed by combining a digit + สิบ (sip) — that's it. 30 = สาม + สิบ = สามสิบ (saam-sip). The only exceptions: 20 uses ยี่ (yii) instead of สอง, and when 1 is the last digit of a number (11, 21, 31…) it becomes เอ็ด (et).
Exceptions — learn these two
The tens pattern (apply to any digit)
Powers of 10 One word each — combine freely
Each power has its own Thai word. Combine them with the digits you already know: สามร้อย (saam roi) = 300, สองพัน (song phan) = 2 000.
